60 Game Reviews

"Price $10"
"The full game is around 6-8 hours long."
From another handful of indie games, 10$ titles have amounted to 50+ hours of content. Replays included. So at best, this game would net 20 hours.
Not a bad demo, But very lackluster for a would be "10$" experiance. I'll keep my money.

Ahem.

The song was fucking horrible, Vocals completely unnecessary and laughable, and the entire thing was just Loud, sharp, and distracting. Thanks for the mute. i made great use of it.
That aside, not bad- but without a good music track got real old, real boring, real fast. Way to easy even for a game meant to be chill to begin with.
Useless review pl0x.

Amazing game.

for 5$ iv spent more hours playing the game than a modern day FPS.
Feels very arcade, the game has a great difficulty curve, deaths don't feel like a punishment [rougelike, duh] and the random element does a great job at keeping the game enjoyable. Even after 30 roundsof the game i still find things i never came across in prevoius playthroughs, be it a secret room or item. The music is wonderful, and this demo helped push me over the edge to buy the full game. I was not disapointed.

To anyone still on the edge as to if they should buy the game or not, i strongly urge you to pick it up instead of order a pizza, or whatever it is you do with 5$, you will have a lot of fun.

Interesting.

But about halfway in i quit playing because i knew what the other half of the game was going to be like.
The game is to simple. id like to see somthing bigger, somthing with a story, somthing more immersive with this kind of concept.
But its enjoyable to a point.

simpler controls

The problem isn't that the controlls are "complicated". up, down, left, right.
If you take bad controlls and make them simple, they become simply bad controlls.

None of the puzzles are complicated, with one glance of the screen you know exactly what to do, but due to the bad controlls- getting your character to do what you want done is tedious to say the least.
it was a perfectly fine game otherwise.

Generic bad controlls.

OOPS moved my mouse right ouside the game screen, ship stops moving entirely.
Ship movement speed related to how far away mouse pointer is from ship, So the vertical movement is always going to be dramaticly slower.

And seeing how the game is a collectathon, the bad controlls "sink the ship" before it even set sail to the quality game zone.

y u no make longer

because it was very enjoyable.
Always enjoyed taking what seems all cute and whatnot and turning it into somthing dark.

fantastic

If only it had a way to share created maps with other folk..

In the editor press U to open up the save/load dialong. Or play the game at Kongregate for automatic level sharing.

Fun.. But

"Give us money so you can have a massive edge playing anyone who hasnt given us money. :D"

Truly a dealbreaker. Fun game, but just another example of flash games going in the wrong direction. Expanded content is great and all, but not when it can be used to beat down everyone without it.

Sigh*

I would be able to enjoy the game a whole lot more if you didnt have to pay for everything it has to offer.
When i think "Flash game", spending money isnt what comes to mind. And throwing it in there is just a giantass cocktease.
Aside from that, its just as great as the last 2.

Just a guy with to much time on his hands.
